John Shenouda’s journey in construction is a story of passion, perseverance, and purpose. His career began as a carpentry apprentice in Western Australia, where he developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. Determined to refine his skills, John moved to Melbourne, where he became a qualified carpenter I QUALIFIED IN WA AND THEN MOVED TO MELBOURNE and quickly established himself as a standout professional in the industry.
Over the years, John worked alongside some of Melbourne’s most respected builders, gaining extensive experience in custom homes, renovations, and multi-unit developments. His expertise led him to site supervision roles with Glenvill Homes and Carlisle Homes, where he oversaw high-end residential projects and fine-tuned his ability to manage complex builds with precision.
Eager to expand his skill set, John ventured into bathroom renovations, collaborating with builders and interior designers to create functional yet beautifully crafted spaces. This experience deepened his understanding of detail-oriented design and high-quality finishes—a philosophy that now defines Startup Structures’ approach.
In 2022, John achieved his long-held goal of becoming a registered builder, marking the beginning of a bigger vision. More than just constructing homes, John’s mission is to make a meaningful impact—not only in Australia but in developing countries, where he aspires to build safe and sustainable homes for communities in need.
